Time is running out on a deal to raise the debt ceiling. Saturday night, Democrats and Republicans can't even agree if they're getting close.

Earlier Saturday the House defeated Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid's bill that would raise the nation's 14.3 trillion debt limit by 2.4 trillion, while cutting spending by 2.2 trillion.

But the Senate still plans to hold a mock vote on the bill and see if they can break a Republican filibuster.
